– Hydric soils are soils that have formed over centuries in wet conditions and
are used as one of the indicators of wetlands.
Please realize that this list is based on the soil types in soil surveys
which are generalizations and small pockets of soils can exist that do not meet
the general classification. Only an on
site investigation by a qualified professional can verify the actual soils on
the site.
