Can I straighten out the
small creek on my property?
While DEP does waive permit requirements for many things in small streams
with less that 100 acres of drainage area, realigning of streams is not
waived. You cannot alter the alignment
of a stream or move any stream without specific approvals of DEP and the Army
Corps of Engineers (ACOE).
