Wetlands

Wetlands are also regulated by DEP. While harvesting of trees or other crops from areas that are wetlands is allowed without permits, filling, excavating, flooding or draining these areas often requires permits and should not be done until authorized by the Department of Environmental Protection and/or the Army Corps of Engineers.
