Poster Contest
RULES: 1. Posters will be judged in five grade categories: K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-9, & 10-12 2. Posters must be between 8.5” X 11” and 22” X 28”  3. A written title or slogan using the theme, or a related statement must appear on the front of the poster. The theme should be clear to the viewer within 15-30 seconds. 4. Posters must be flat or two-dimensional. 5. There are no restrictions on the type of art media: oil, crayon, colored pencil, pastel, or watercolor on paper or poster board are acceptable. 6. No artist name may appear on the front of the poster. 7. To qualify, the back of the poster must be clearly labeled with a. student name b. grade c. school name, address, & phone # d. teacher name. 8. Only one poster per student. 9. Open to students in Columbia county. 10. Judging Criteria: a. Clear theme b. Quality in relation to grade level c. Simplicity d. Creativity
